Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Analyst SQL to support the Valuation Management application. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability and availability of the application, ensuring timely delivery to downstream consumers, and driving improved stability and higher quality of data delivered to the Front Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act immediately to identify the root cause for job failures and remediate.
  • Monitor via ITRS Dashboard to ensure health of Application.
  • Ensure timely delivery to downstream consumers (Front Office).
  • Drive improved stability and higher quality of data delivered to Front Office.
  • Document new issues that occur and maintain/enhance existing documentation to ensure consistent steps performed for known issues.
  • Coordinate between several groups to remediate issues (Support, Development, Analytics, Quants).
  • Investigate pricing failures and resolve issues utilizing various skills including SQL, Unix, Windows.
  • Develop scripts to automate processes using Powershell and other scripting languages.
Requirements
  • Powershell scripting
  • SQL language (any DB language but SQL Server/Oracle preferred)
  • Windows Server, ability to deep-dive into issues
  • ITRIS Geneos Monitoring Software
  • Job Scheduler experience (i.e. BMC Control-M, Cron, etc.)
