Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Octo Mechanical Inc.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, monitoring the movement of supplies and materials between departments, and preparing and submitting reports. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Maintain work records and logs
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units
  • Coordinate traffic flow of supplies
  • Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
  • Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
