Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff.

    • Hire and manage food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
  • Food Service Operations
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, and ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service

    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food, and that their needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies, and ensure that expenses are managed within budget.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule
    • 30 to 40 hours per week.

The successful candidate will work in a hotel and restaurant environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
