Position Overview

The successful candidate will be a key member of our Transit team, taking on the role of Technical Project Manager with a focus on underground and tunneling initiatives. You will oversee critical aspects of project management including scheduling, budgeting, troubleshooting, and risk assessment. Collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and design consultants, you will guide the development of design concepts, construction documentation, and specifications for underground facilities. Your responsibilities will include managing project timelines, financials, and resources while ensuring effective communication and teamwork across various disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a proactive individual with outstanding leadership, communication, and presentation abilities to enhance our team. Being a strong collaborator is essential, as this role requires working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve common objectives and foster a positive workplace atmosphere.

Your tasks will include:

Overseeing the design process of underground station projects from initial concept through to completion. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to create innovative and sustainable design solutions that align with project specifications and client needs. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of design outputs. Reviewing and validating design documents, specifications, and other technical materials for accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among internal teams, external stakeholders, and project partners to address design challenges, incorporate feedback, and ensure alignment with project objectives. Preparing and delivering progress reports, status updates, and other project documentation to senior management and stakeholders as necessary. Identifying potential risks, opportunities, and challenges during the design phase and developing strategies to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities to improve project outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering. Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical coordination or project management within the Architecture and/or Engineering fields. Familiarity with P3 (Public-Private Partnership) projects and transit-related initiatives is essential. Proven experience in the design of underground transit projects is mandatory. A demonstrated history of managing complex technical projects from inception to completion. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam, and platforms like FTP, Project Wise, SharePoint, and ISO. Knowledge of design software such as Revit, Microstation, and AutoCAD is advantageous.
