The Manager will oversee the pediatric inpatient psychiatry unit, playing a crucial role in delivering timely, compassionate, and effective addiction and mental health services. This position is aligned with the mission and objectives of Alberta Health Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operational budget and ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the unit.
  • Lead human resource functions including recruitment, performance evaluations, and staff development.
  • Adapt and implement organizational strategies to address operational challenges.
  • Supervise clinical supervisors and charge nurses, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative environment among front-line staff to enhance service effectiveness.
  • Engage with the leadership team to contribute to the broader objectives of youth addiction and mental health services.
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives to support comprehensive care and staffing flexibility.
