Your Role:

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations, you will lead all aspects of procurement and marketing for Mayrand Plus. This includes developing and executing strategic purchasing plans, negotiating with suppliers, and overseeing the performance of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive purchasing strategies aligned with the company's financial goals and inventory management objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to understand customer needs and organizational objectives, aligning procurement efforts accordingly.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on key metrics such as service levels, delivery times, and compliance. Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in procurement and supply chain management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience leading procurement teams, with a proven track record of success in strategic sourcing and negotiation.
  • Deep understanding of the food service industry and its unique supply chain dynamics.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and influence stakeholders.
