Job Overview:

Lehigh Hanson is seeking a dependable Heavy Duty Mechanic to become a vital part of our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for both preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy-duty mobile machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting lubrication, emergency repairs, and scheduled maintenance on heavy mobile equipment to ensure peak performance
  • Operating and assessing machinery to diagnose mechanical issues
  • Ensuring all repairs adhere to manufacturer specifications
  • Performing tests on mechanical components after repairs or assembly to ensure functionality and compliance
  • Completing additional mechanical and maintenance tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Interprovincial or Red Seal Journeyman certification
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field
  • Experience with servicing transmissions, rear ends, running gear, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is preferred
  • Familiarity with MS Office and formal maintenance management systems
  • Capability to lift and perform physical tasks in various positions and environments, including confined spaces
