Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment, including dishwashers, mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Garbage and Recycling: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that recycling is properly sorted and stored.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
