Job Title: Occupational Therapist

At Shared Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide quality occupational therapy services to individuals with mental health issues and/or acquired brain injury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient-centered occupational therapy programs.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and communities.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to provide comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practice standards and evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM) is required.
  • Membership in the Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists (MSOT) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) is preferred.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training requirements must be met.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be in good physical and mental health.
  • Must demonstrate adequate strength, agility, motor coordination, and dexterity.
  • May be exposed to infectious diseases, blood, and body fluids.
