Job Title: Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator to join our team at Vision Coatings Limited.

Job Summary:

The Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the procurement and inventory management processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and supplies to support our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and analyze purchase orders and instructions from customers
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to achieve work objectives
  • Track and complete work orders, monitoring the movement of supplies and materials between departments
  • Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and other relevant metrics
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports and other documentation as required
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or a related field
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
