Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure an exceptional vacation experience for our Owners and Guests by upholding our properties to a five-star standard and delivering outstanding guest service.

Position Specifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to best practices and the mission of Lodging Ovation to guarantee an extraordinary vacation experience for Owners and Guests.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety protocols. Report any unsafe conditions or practices to a supervisor or management.
  • Address guest inquiries and service requests promptly.
  • Respond to emergencies, particularly noise complaints and unauthorized pool access.
  • Ensure guest and owner safety through routine nighttime building inspections and common area patrols.
  • Maintain guest units to a five-star standard.
  • Perform wood furniture refinishing, staining, drywall repairs, and painting.
  • Conduct daily testing, balancing, cleaning, and repair of pool and hot tub chemicals.
  • Diagnose and repair appliances and electronic equipment, including kitchen appliances and control boards.
  • Operate and maintain HVAC systems, focusing on early detection of issues to prevent downtime in our 24/7 high-availability environment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical equipment on 120, 208, and 347 volt systems.
  • Organize and execute various projects efficiently and timely.
  • Assist other departments as required based on needs and business levels.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas. Report missing tools and required supplies to a supervisor or order directly when authorized.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed, outstanding tasks, and noted deficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • A high level of integrity is essential.
  • Post-secondary trade skill training, trade license, or relevant work experience is strongly preferred.
  • A proven history of safe work practices is required.
  • Previous safety training related to working at heights, electrical low voltage (
