Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cardiac Cath Lab Assistant to join our team at Sault Area Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional support to our staff and patients, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Cardiac Cath Lab team, including data entry, reporting, and document management.
  • Assist with patient registration, scheduling, and communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  • Perform various clerical tasks, such as photocopying, collating, and mailing documents.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Office Administration, Health Office Administration Certificate, or equivalent education and/or experience in a healthcare-related environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with Meditech applications, Community Wide Scheduling (CWS), and Materials Management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with people in a pleasant, professional, and reassuring manner.
