About the Role

We are seeking an Electronics Engineering Technologist to join our team at Dexterra On Demand. As an Electronics Engineering Technologist, you will play a key role in the development and testing of electronic prototypes, assisting in design and development, and providing technical support to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prototype Development: Supervise the building and testing of prototypes to ensure they meet specifications and requirements.
  • Design and Development: Assist in the design, development, and testing of electronic systems and components.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to our team, including assisting in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.
  • Specifications Writing: Write specifications for electronic systems and components.
  • Inspection and Testing: Assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Calibration and Maintenance: Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments, and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Safety Training: Conduct safety training programs for our team members.
  • Research and Development: Conduct applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
  • Test and Maintenance Reports: Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports to ensure accurate documentation.
