About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Linda Levy. As a Home Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Light Exercise: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical health and well-being.
  • Laundry and Linen: Launder clothing and household linens, ensuring clients have clean and comfortable living conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Work Setting

This is a temporary position, working in the employer's/client's home.
