Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and caring individual to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care and support the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care.
- Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Participate in resident care planning and implementation, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Support residents with their activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with medication administration and documentation, as per established policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Provincial certification in Continuing Care Assistant (CCA).
- Regular and consistent attendance is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A strong commitment to providing person-centered care and supporting the unique needs of each resident.
