Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with mobility and transfer of residents, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, promoting a positive dining experience.
  • Engage residents in activities and conversations, fostering a sense of community and social connection.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, ensuring timely interventions and support.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans, promoting resident-centered care.
Requirements:
  • Continuing Care Assistant Certification
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of reliability and dependability.
