About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Retail Partnerships to join our team at Lightspeed. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our retail partnerships strategy, driving business growth, and leading a team of partnership managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive retail partnerships strategy to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Lead a team of partnership managers to identify, develop, and maintain strategic retail partnerships across multiple point of sale and eCommerce platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and effective execution of partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Develop and negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit to both parties.
  • Manage results with partner companies through regular governance processes.
  • Act as a key source of knowledge and subject matter expertise on market and competitive dynamics.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in partnerships, point of sale, payments, or eCommerce space.
  • Proven results working across legal, product, and commercial teams.
  • Experience in a global SaaS environment, preferably in a fast-growth and global company.
  • Track record of setting or shaping strategy, as well as delivering executional plans with measurable impact on the business.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability, while also collaborating cross-functionally with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced, and unpredictable environment.
  • Unquestionable ethics, integrity, and business judgment.
