Job Summary

FAT BASTARD BURRITO is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our food preparation team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Quality Control: Establish methods to meet work schedules, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that all customer interactions are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Staff Management: Hire food service staff, establish work schedules, and supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
