About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at S&L Properties ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
