Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team at SMS Equipment Inc. in Timmins, ON. As a Warehouse Clerk, you will be responsible for the receiving, shipping, and inventory management of heavy equipment parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments of parts and materials
  • Process and ship out orders to customers and internal departments
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records and bin locations
  • Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment within the warehouse
  • Participate in annual inventory counts and cycle count functions
  • Assist with the processing of orders and customer service requests
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role
  • Current forklift certification
  • WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Fire Extinguisher, TDG, First Aid, and Hoisting and Rigging training is an asset
  • Strong customer service skills and working knowledge of computers
  • Valid Class 5/G driver's license
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset
