Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Logistics Specialist for our Industrial Products Program (IPP) team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient distribution of products within the industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the IPP unit in managing supply chain operations, including the distribution of products from various facilities.
- Maintain effective communication with industry partners and stakeholders.
- Collaborate directly with program partners to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in the daily management of the IP Program.
- Conduct data analysis and generate reports for the IPP unit and other departments.
- Engage with Third Party Verification (TPV) Services on a daily basis.
- Work with the Supervisor to develop and uphold TPV program procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels at processing facilities.
- Contribute to the management of the Industrial Product Release Tracking (IPRT) program.
- Travel as necessary to foster relationships with external stakeholders.
- Participate in project management tasks as required.
- Provide comprehensive support to the Logistics Specialist within the IPP.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong relationship-building skills with external partners.
- Excellent analytical and organizational capabilities.
- Familiarity with business management practices and current trends.
- Proficient in business writing and communication.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and ability to learn various software applications.
- Capacity to identify and implement program improvements.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree or college diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or data management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with applications such as Tableau or Salesforce is a plus.
