We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Director to lead our residential construction company, Ottawa Home Contractors Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability
    • Lead and manage a team of 11-15 people in various areas of responsibility
    • Supervise contractors and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Financial Management
    • Manage budgets allocated to environmental programs
    • Oversee financial planning and budgeting processes
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales
    • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities
    • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the preparation of drawings, specifications, and other construction documents
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
    • Manage the company's IT systems and infrastructure
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, construction management)
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in a senior leadership role in the construction industry
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and management skills
    • Strong financial management and planning skills
    • Ability to develop and implement business strategies
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions
