Job Summary

Brightshores is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for promoting health and providing care to critically ill adults, children, and infants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate emergency patients
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in staff meetings and unit-specific projects
  • Coach and mentor new staff and students

Requirements

  • Ontario College of Nurses registration or eligibility
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Physical Assessment course
  • Arrhythmia interpretation
  • Months of emergency room/Critical Care experience
  • Excellent assessment and interviewing skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to prioritize and remain calm during stressful situations
  • Commitment to continuous professional development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing
  • Community College Diploma in Emergency Nursing or ENC Certification
  • TNCC, CTAS, and CPI training
  • Participation in RNAO, ENAO, and ENA
