Clinical Extern Program Overview

The Clinical Extern Program at HHS invites learners from diverse healthcare disciplines to collaborate with clinical teams. Currently, there is a demand for Clinical Externs to assist various patient demographics across multiple hospital locations.

Role Overview

The role of Clinical Extern – Physiotherapy Learner is vital in delivering care to patients and their families in conjunction with the healthcare team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with personal care needs
  • Enhancing patient safety
  • Supporting a range of medical interventions

This position is designed for Physiotherapy Students currently enrolled in an accredited program who have successfully completed a clinical placement.

This is a part-time, temporary opportunity that requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability on weekends.

Required Qualifications
  • Active enrollment in a Physiotherapy program
  • Strong academic performance
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Previous experience in a clinical placement is preferred
