Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of sales and customer feedback.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have a client-focused approach.
