Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Truck Driver/Groundskeeper. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to operate district vehicles and perform manual tasks in the maintenance of district grounds and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive district vehicles to pick up and deliver mail, supplies, materials, and equipment.
  • Perform manual tasks in the maintenance of district grounds and facilities, including operating a variety of grounds equipment and vehicles.
  • Operate a front-end loader, backhoe, tractor, dump truck, pick-up truck, or crew cab to transport employees, materials, equipment, and tools to and from worksites.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of vehicles and equipment.
Requirements
  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Two years related work experience or an equivalent combination of training and/or experience in truck driving.
  • Valid B.C. Driver's License (Class 5).
  • Sound knowledge of vehicles, equipment, materials, and methods used in transportation and groundskeeping work.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
