Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Intermediate Teacher to join our team on a temporary full-time basis. As a member of our school community, you will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Intermediate level subjects to students in a semi-rural school setting
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Use universal design and differentiation techniques to enhance student learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and improve student outcomes
  • Contribute to a safe, caring, and healthy school environment
Requirements
  • Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible for)
  • Qualifications and demonstrated ability to teach Intermediate level subjects
  • Experience with universal design and differentiation
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Experience/training/knowledge of Social Emotional Learning
