As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare and post journal entries, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balances, and reconcile accounts.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and accounting software, including Tally ERP and Quick Books.
  • Language: English.
