Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at SRT Accounting Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Accurate
  • Dependability
  • Organized
  • Reliability
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 30 to 40 hours per week.
