Job Title: Database Developer

Xideral North America Inc is seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team in Montreal, QC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality data to key business users in a timely manner
  • Implement and manage company data management practices and policies
  • Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Remediate reporting hygiene issues
  • Implement continuous improvement
  • Mentor skills within the reporting team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and RDBMS
  • Deep understanding of defect tracking tools like Jira
  • Experience with version control tools like Git
  • Experience working in Agile teams
  • Experience with PowerBI reporting tool (optional)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under time and resource constraints
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other reporting tools like Tableau and BusinessObjects
  • Experience with scripting using Python and Unix/Linux shell
  • Experience with BOXI report development and universe building
  • Good understanding of user security in BO
