Your Opportunity:

This role presents an excellent opportunity for both recent graduates and seasoned technologists to acquire valuable experience in Computed Tomography (CT). We welcome all Medical Radiation Technologists (MRTs) eager to enhance their competencies in CT imaging to consider this position, regardless of their prior education or experience in this specialty.

Position Overview:

As a Medical Radiation Technologist I, you will conduct a range of standard radiological imaging procedures on patients to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and medical conditions. Your responsibilities will include interpreting physician orders, preparing and evaluating patients for imaging procedures, and generating high-quality diagnostic images for review by Physicians or Radiologists. Additionally, you will be involved in the maintenance and care of imaging equipment. Your duties may encompass various procedures, including general and portable radiography, mobile examinations, surgical suite imaging, and fluoroscopy as necessary.

Salary Range: $35.45 - $46.69

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Advanced authorization with ACMDTT for intravenous contrast administration.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in CT Imaging or equivalent education and experience.
