Innovative Product Design Engineer

Are you eager to contribute to significant development initiatives and push the boundaries of design? We are seeking a talented designer to enhance our company's achievements by creating advanced tracked assemblies that are both high-performing and innovative. As a member of our product development team, you will be dedicated to fostering innovation, leveraging technology, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and model rubber tracked assemblies and components tailored for vehicle integration.
- Develop and model various testing apparatus and oversee their production.
- Create installation tools and accessories specifically designed for our products.
- Generate detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Engage in customer consultations alongside the technical team.
- Provide technical assistance to cross-functional product development teams.
- Contribute innovative concepts to shape the technological roadmap for new developments.
- Participate in project feasibility assessments and activity scheduling.
- Support production during prototype manufacturing or the initiation of production runs.
- Monitor and manage machined components while offering technical guidance to suppliers.
Qualifications
- DEC in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on design/manufacturing or DEP in industrial drafting.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in drafting and/or designing intricate mechanical systems, preferably within the transportation, snowmobile, or heavy vehicle sectors.
- Strong understanding of mechanics, machining processes, and casting design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Edge is a plus).
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
- A creative mindset with a willingness to explore unconventional solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with motorized vehicles is advantageous.
- Intermediate proficiency in English for effective communication with English-speaking clients is a plus.
