About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver Operations Manager to join our team at Autobot Transport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on production and operational metrics
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Operational Oversight
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of drivers and other operational staff
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Training and Development
    • Develop and implement training programs for drivers and other operational staff
    • Identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and feedback to staff
  • Coordination and Scheduling
    • Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
    • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Personnel Management
    • Recommend personnel actions and participate in performance management
    • Ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
