About the Role:

The Vice President of Treasury will play a pivotal role in supporting the CFO and collaborating closely with executive leadership, finance, risk management, and operational teams.

The ideal candidate will spearhead financial planning and analysis initiatives related to the Company’s debt structures and cash flow, essential for supporting the rapidly expanding Financeit business.

This position will be crucial in optimizing the Company’s capital structure, including the initiation of a securitization program designed to propel the Company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and lead a top-tier treasury team, focusing on continuous improvements in advance rates and minimizing borrowing costs to drive increased cash flow and return on equity.
  • Evaluate and optimize existing financing and funding partnerships.
  • Develop long-term financing strategies that align with the Company’s growth objectives and maximize value.
  • Build upon the Company’s recent securitization initiatives and establish a sustainable securitization program, including the completion of credit ratings, prospectus, and investor relations.
  • Manage exposure to foreign currency and variable interest rates, implementing necessary hedging strategies.
  • Create detailed and accurate cash flow models to optimize financing arrangements, advance rates, and borrowing costs.
  • Lead the long-term capital planning process, providing insightful recommendations.
  • Design and execute strategies to enhance the Company’s financial standing.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with credit rating agencies, lenders, and investors.
  • Optimize current loan funding and settlement processes.
  • Oversee and improve related internal controls and processes.
  • Direct cash management activities, including forecasting, investment of surplus funds, short-term borrowing, and overall cash flow management.
  • Support the external audit and quarterly review processes.

Qualifications:

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and treasury, with a focus on various debt and equity instruments, particularly securitization frameworks.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA CA or CMA, CFA) or an MBA is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services and asset-backed securitization.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • A talent for identifying and nurturing high-performing teams.
  • Financially astute with a strong business acumen, beyond just the numbers.
  • Comfortable navigating a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Able to balance competing priorities while fostering collaborative relationships.
  • A dynamic, high-energy thinker capable of building consensus and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in managing multiple large-scale, complex projects.
