About the Role:
The Vice President of Treasury will play a crucial role in supporting the CFO and collaborating closely with executive leadership, finance, risk management, and operational teams.
The ideal candidate will spearhead financial planning and analysis initiatives concerning the Company's debt instruments and cash flow, facilitating the rapid expansion of Financeit.
This position will be vital in optimizing the Company's capital structure, including the initiation of a securitization program to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and lead a top-tier treasury team, focusing on continuous improvements in advance rates and reducing borrowing costs to maximize cash flow and return on equity.
- Assess and refine existing financing and funding partnerships.
- Evaluate long-term financing strategies to support the Company's growth objectives and enhance overall value.
- Build upon the Company's recent securitization initiatives and establish a comprehensive long-term securitization program, including credit rating completion, prospectus development, and investor relations.
- Manage exposure to foreign currency and variable interest rates by implementing appropriate hedging strategies.
- Create detailed and accurate cash flow models to optimize financing, advance rates, and borrowing costs.
- Lead the long-term capital planning process, providing insightful recommendations.
- Design and execute strategies to strengthen the Company's financial standing.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with credit rating agencies, lenders, and investors.
- Optimize current loan funding and settlement processes.
- Oversee and improve related internal controls and processes.
- Direct cash management activities, including forecasting, investing surplus funds, short-term borrowing, and overall cash flow management.
- Support the external audit and quarterly review processes.
Qualifications:
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and treasury, with expertise in various debt and equity instruments, particularly securitization structures.
- Accounting designation (CPA CA or CMA, CFA) or an MBA is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of financial services and asset-backed securities (ABS) securitization.
- Proven people management and coaching abilities.
- A talent for identifying and nurturing high-performing teams.
- Financially astute with a strong business acumen.
- Comfortable navigating a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Able to balance competing priorities while fostering collaborative relationships.
- A high-energy, innovative thinker capable of building consensus across functions.
