Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their experience is positive and memorable.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required, providing a clear and concise overview of key performance indicators.
Work Environment:

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet customer demand. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic team environment.

Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
