Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team at Boston Pizza. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including training, development, staffing, scheduling, and performance management of the Front of House team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead by example and work alongside team members to ensure exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure seamless day-to-day operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service standards.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and team performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Guest Experience
    • Ensure that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience, from arrival to departure.
    • Address guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Business Development
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer loyalty, and enhance the overall guest experience.
    • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a fast-paced casual dining environment.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management, with a focus on customer service and operational excellence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, guests, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and multitasking.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
