- Prepare and distribute meals to service units as per the requirements of the Correctional Center.
- Perform sanitation and cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and portioning of meals.
- Operate cash register and handle meal ticket procedures.
- Perform general cleaning duties, including carts, trolleys, dishes, and pots.
- Maintain storage areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Work efficiently and handle all equipment and products safely.
About the Role:
- Grade 12 or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must pass and maintain a clean criminal record.
- Possess a Food Safe level 1 certificate or provincial equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
- Physical ability to perform all job-related tasks.
- Ability to operate all related equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
