About the Role:

Giant Tiger is seeking a skilled Softgoods Associate to join our team in Sudbury. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our softgoods products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Restock and replenish merchandise as needed, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a consistent and appealing store image.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and objectives, promoting a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 18 kg (40 lbs), and perform other physical demands of the role.
