Job Title: Bus Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Bus Driver to join our team at the Catholic Independent Schools of Vancouver Archdiocese. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being during transit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transit
  • Follow established routes and schedules
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or 2 driver's license with air brake endorsement
  • Driver's abstract with no more than 3 demerit points
  • Clear criminal record
  • Excellent driving skills and habits
  • Ability to read maps and navigate
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive and caring approach to students
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current pastoral reference from a Catholic parish
  • Commitment to excellence in Catholic education
  • Valid First Aid certification
