Provider Relations Representative

Job Summary
Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company is seeking a skilled Provider Relations Representative to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of network agreements with healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate and review network agreements with pharmacy, medical supplies & equipment, mental health care, vision care, and dental providers to ensure all necessary information is accurate and complete.
- Enter provider information into our system in a timely manner, ensuring seamless integration with our operations.
- Update provider modifications and terminations in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing disruptions to our services.
- Provide exceptional customer service to providers, associations, and software vendors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and supportive manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
- Post-secondary school diploma required.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Knowledge of healthcare/pharmacy, medical supplies & equipment, or dental benefit administration and claims processing is an advantage.
- Strong customer service focus, with a deep understanding of the Express Way Values.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Reader, and Writer.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- A thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellence.
- Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation, with a strong ability to analyze, problem-solve, and mediate complex situations.
- Results-oriented, with a focus on attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
