Job Opportunity Overview

Shepherd's Care Foundation is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a casual position at our Barrhead location.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN to provide high-quality care to our residents in a supportive living environment. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with the Program Manager and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional resident care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in the safe delivery of resident care, medication administration, and other nursing procedures.
  • Supervise Health Care Aides and other non-regulated healthcare staff to ensure quality care and support is provided to residents and families.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment that promotes resident-centered care.

Requirements:

  • Member in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills and experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
