Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Wapiti Community Support Association.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need, working collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including taking vital signs and administering first aid as needed.
  • Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing.
  • Work under the supervision of a healthcare professional to provide support and care to patients in various settings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Health Care Aide Certificate.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
