Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Care24 Homecare & Support Services.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring.
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
  • Provide transportation to appointments and outings.
  • Assist with personal care, such as toileting and incontinence care.
  • Document patient care and progress.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a healthcare aide training program.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
Work Environment:

The Healthcare Support Worker will work in a home care setting, providing care and support to patients in their homes.
