Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Culinary Expertise
- Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, including sushi and other Japanese cuisine.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring that they have a positive and memorable dining experience.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and tailor our menu and service to meet their requirements.
- Operational Management
- Manage inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet customer demand.
- Develop and implement systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity in the kitchen.
- Education and Experience
- 5 years or more of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or food service environment.
- Other trades certificate or diploma in culinary arts or a related field.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, clients, and colleagues.
