Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our Integrated Water Management team in the Greater Toronto Area. As a Water Resources Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting senior team members in a range of multi-disciplinary projects for stormwater management, highway/road/rail drainage, and flood mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior team members in the development of hydrologic and hydraulic models and analyses
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for integrated design
  • Prepare water resource design reports, drawings, and construction specifications
  • Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering (Civil or Environmental)
  • Master of Applied Science or Master of Engineering in Water Resources is considered an asset
  • 1-3 years of experience in hydrologic/hydraulic modelling, stormwater management analysis and design, bridge/culvert hydraulic assessment, flood management, and drainage design
  • Experience in Low Impact Development/Green Infrastructure design is considered an asset
  • Strong technical report writing and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modelling software and the Microsoft suite, as well as experience with GIS and AutoCAD Civil3D
  • Class G Driver's License
