Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering water resources projects that connect and protect communities around the world.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic models for Municipal, Road, Highway, Rail, and Transit projects
  • Design engineering of various culvert drainage systems for road, highway, and rail/transit projects
  • Help prepare technical reports and memorandums
  • Develop and/or supervise the creation of engineering products that meet client quality requirements
  • Coordinate drainage requirements for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses
  • Complete field assessments, analysis, and evaluations as required
  • Provide support for construction activities as project engineer or contract administrator
  • Assist with proposal preparation and business development
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) 3+ years or more of related work experience
  • Professional Engineer registration (PENG) or EIT in any province in Canada
  • Postgraduate degree in water resources will be an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • A thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific engineering software (EPA/PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, SWMHYMO, Visual OTTHYMO, Civil3D/MicroStation) for use in completing engineering assignments
