About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Paradise Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of engineering specifications and drawings, participating in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations, and preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the development of engineering specifications and drawings, and participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations.
  • Design and Estimation: Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates, and prepare engineering designs and drawings.
  • Project Scheduling: Prepare project schedules and supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise 1 to 2 people and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CAE - computer-aided engineering, AutoCAD, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, initiative, judgement, organized, and a team player.
