Nurse Specialist

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Neuro Angiography team at UBC Hospital in Vancouver, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Perform nursing functions associated with interventional radiology, computed tomography, and other medical imaging procedures to patients of all ages who may be critically ill and/or attached to life-support equipment.
- Assist the physician during procedures and provide direct nursing care to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Enhance quality of life from the patient's perspective.
- Prepare for and respond to fluctuating workloads and unexpected critical situations.
- Consult and collaborate with other healthcare providers and team members.
- Maintain and advance clinical competence.
- Participate in hospital committees and research as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have training or experience in Critical Care and Interventional Radiology, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
