About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at 5187720 MANITOBA LTD. as a Pastry Production Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing dough for various baked goods, operating machinery, and ensuring the quality of products meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Production: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Pastry Preparation: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays, and ensure that all products meet our quality standards.
  • Baking and Decoration: Bake mixed dough and batters, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods, and prepare special orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards and operate machinery as needed.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
